Make up worthless and irritating slogans for your department. Make sure they are trite and irritating. Insist that your employees know them and use them.

 

One of my bosses constantly made up slogans for our department. What was worse was that he purchased banners for his slogans and hung them up in our department. He would quiz us in meetings on the slogans and expect us to recite them back to him.
