Dr. Tom has written both a practical and easily followed book about supply management. I especially enjoyed Dr. Tom’s simplified approach to kaizens. It shows a practical approach and an organized cogent methodology. His stories were classic and I found the insights that I gained not only to be applicable to supply management but to many other aspects of business. I really enjoyed the story about the warehouse in San Diego and the sweaters. Taking care of your employees is always a good idea. I have had the pleasure of attending his seminars and he is even better in person. I strongly recommend his book. It would make a perfect supplementary textbook for a Supply Management course.
